My number one tip for visiting a new city for the first time

Hey there Reader,

Do you have plans this year to visit a new city (or country) that you’ve never been to before?

One of my favourite aspects of travel is discovering a completely new city and its local culture. But knowing where to go and what to see can be complicated and overwhelming.

That’s why I always book a walking tour on my first day in a new city. Walking tours are a perfect way to see the main tourist attractions and learn all about the city’s history from an expert guide in an hour or two.

I recommend researching walking tours for your next travel adventure using either Viator or GetYourGuide. All you have to do is type in the city and you’ll find endless options for tours, activities and more.

What new city are you planning to visit next? Hit the reply button and let me know - I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks for reading and have a great day,

Mark

My travel stories may sound too unbelievable to be true, but I can assure you they are!

Hey Reader! I hope the month of May is going well for you so far and that you're enjoying some good weather wherever you are in the world. I've just returned from a 3 week trip to Peru and Bolivia which was very much a trip of a lifetime for me. From the stunning Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain to the incredible Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia, I packed in as many adventures as I possibly could over the course of 21 days. Although I'm very much enjoying being back home (honest!), I'm already...
